Aletta het seker gemaak ons het alles wat ons nodig het en ons het sommer vinnig tuis gevoel. Die geriewe is baie skoon en ruim en alles werk en is goed opgepas. Riversdale: The Heart of the Garden Route

Riversdale is a picturesque town situated on the N2 highway between Cape Town and George at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty Mountain peak. Known as the Floral Paradise of the Garden Route, Riversdale boasts an abundance of indigenous fynbos, with the winter months transforming the surrounding mountains into a vibrant floral display.

Riversdale is rich in cultural heritage and historical landmarks. Visitors can explore the Julius Gordon Africana Centre, housing art and antiques, or follow in the footsteps of CJ Langenhoven, the father of the Afrikaans language. Riversdale’s proximity to seaside towns like Still Bay and Witsand is ideal for fishing, sailing, and of course, Still Bay’s Blombos Cave, and romantic walks on the beach. Various natural attractions like scenic hiking trails with breathtaking views, make it an ideal base for exploring the area’s diverse beauty and splendour. Other popular attractions include the 9-hole Riversdale Golf Course, the best coffee and carrot cake ever at the famous “Ou Tronk”, and don’t forget to stop at Bali Trading, a treasured farmstall that sells everything from furniture and home décor to sportswear.
